Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2024: Best New Gifts For Mom
From an adorable pastel-colored juicer to a signature scent fragrance, these are our favorite finds for Mom this Mother’s Day
Growing up, everyone knew my mom as THE expert shopper. (Yours too?) To this day, my mom knows where to find the best deals and she’s the one who has heard of that new must-have everyone’s talking about…before they start talking about it. So, naturally, each Mother’s Day, the question returns to me: How do I shop for the expert shopper? If you’re in the same bind, Covey’s got you covered with our list of the best Mother’s Day gift ideas. Get her something she’ll really want (and use!). Here are our favorite finds for the most in-the-know mom.
Ode à la Rose Bouquet (starting at $92)
Even the most selective matriarch will agree, you can’t go wrong celebrating with a special Mother’s Day bouquet! The 20- or 30-stem “Danielle” bouquet by Ode à la Rose takes a classic gift option and gives it a modern twist. The pretty pink tulips provide a pop of color to any tablescape, and a cool collection of vases are also available so you can easily tie in your mom’s signature style.
New Balance sneakers ($100)
If your mom is the type to never slow down, empower her power walks. New Balance’s latest line up of sneakers includes a periwinkle platform that can’t be beat in the looks or the comfort department. The mom-who-marathons (or one who enjoys an athleisurely lifestyle) will think of you every time she ties her shoes to hit the ground running — even if it’s just a coffee run!
Tiffany Wisteria Coupe Glass ($375)
Good morning, martini? Some moms like their Mother’s Day drinks a little bit on the stronger side. If the coffee won’t cut it, cocktails at brunch might just taste better in a personalized etched coupe! The collection of barware at Tiffany includes this beautiful mouth-blown coupe glass with handpainted flowers. I’ll drink (and clink) to that!
HP Sprocket Printer ($150)
Moving from boozy brunches you won’t quite remember to those special moments you’ll never want to forget…consider revisiting some favorite memories shared with Mom, that too often get stuck in cyberspace! These days it seems like no one has time to get hard copies of photos, yet, who doesn’t love the tangible feel of pictures or the warmth of a printed photo in a frame? This tiny printer packs the mighty power to immediately print and literally share 4-x-6 photos straight from your phone. For a fun nostalgic craft on Mother’s Day, scrapbooking together might be the all-time best gift.
Brook & York Birthstone Bracelet ($160)
While some moms tuck memories neatly in a frame, some moms prefer to wear their hearts on their sleeves. Brook & York makes this old adage a true possibility with their stylish offering of birthstone bracelets. The pieces come in silver or gold varieties, and moms of one, two, or three children can feature each of their birthstones prominently. Necklaces, earrings, and additional stackable bracelets from the same birthstone collection can complete or enhance the look, and allow for additional birth months to be represented (hellooo grandkids!).
Lili Bermuda Perfume (starting at $170)
If you can’t fly far for a Mother’s Day get together or girls weekend, the travel-prone mom will be thrilled with the summery, beach-inspired perfume at Lili Bermuda (hailing from the island itself). Is Mom more a Paradise? SunKiss? Fresh Water? The website has a fun getting-started quiz to help you find the perfect signature scent for her. And the packaging? Gorgeous!
Smeg Citrus Juicer ($200)
If your mom is still dreaming of being on island time, add some fresh flavor to her morning routine. This adorable citrus juicer provides a great way to get on a health kick or to spruce up a home bar while entertaining. Your mom will feel like she just checked into a five-star resort with this new amenity (and the adorable Smeg comes in a ton of cool colors to perfectly blend into any kitchen).
Colorful Backgammon Set ($189)
This vibrant backgammon set by Mark & Graham is a beautiful addition to your mom’s game table, and could be the source of some post-brunch entertainment this Mother’s Day and for many holidays to come. If your family is game to game, note that the set is monogrammable to give it an even more personal touch. And if the set turns out to be a hit, there are plenty more gaming options to choose, like the similarly dainty acrylic chess and checkers set.
Hand & Stone Spa Gift (priceless)
Is Mom in need of some TLC? Hand & Stone Spa specializes in massages and facials. With hundreds of locations across the United States, you can easily treat Mom to a day out together, or give her the ability to grab some much-needed alone time.
