Today we must recognize that we are in a stage of transition on the planet and discover how it contributes to global grief. We also need to recognize the various forms that grief takes in all of our lives. Kathy Koenig, M.S, is a Certified Caregiver Consultant, Educator, and Certified Grief Coach, who will show us how grieving goes well beyond “5-stages.” She will give us helpful ways to respond to those who are grieving, and guidelines on what not to say.

Kathy Koenig, M.S, is a Certified Caregiver Consultant, Educator, and Certified Grief Coach. Her work focuses on helping family caregivers navigate the caregiving process, including planning for caregiving needs, adapting to changes, and transitioning as caregiving ends. In addition, Kathy is skilled in locating resources and creating solutions to fit the unique needs of each individual. Her goal is to help caregivers and those grieving thrive during their journeys. Kathy’s background includes experience as a family caregiver, psychotherapist, health coach, and hospice volunteer. Through the years, she has supported individuals privately and led group sessions. She has also taught yoga, meditation, and techniques for stress reduction.
