Holiday Gift Guide 2024: The Best Beauty Gifts

A miniature luxe fragrance collection, a super chic nail polish, and more of the best beauty gifts

By Katie Weisman

From sparkling makeup to seriously scientific skin care, Covey Club has some truly glamorous beauty gift ideas for this holiday season. As a female-founded company, we also love when we can highlight innovative products from other female founders. Here are our best beauty gifts for 2024.

Holiday Eyeshadow and Lip Plumper Set ($60, Lawless)

Lawless, beauty gift guide“Clean AF” is how founder Annie Lawless describes her supercharged, richly pigmented eponymous range of color cosmetics. This pairing of talc-free eye shadows and colored lip plumpers is literally dazzling for the holidays, or really any fun fête. The set is available exclusively on the Lawless website

Lelet, Hammered Double Arch Pony Cuff ($178, Lelet)

Put those scrunchies back in the drawer and embellish your ponytail with this beautiful 14K gold covered hammered brass pony cuff. This jewelry-embellished elastic makes any ponytail or updo smart and sophisticated. Lelet was founded by accessories designer Sara Bieler Sasson and everything is made in the company’s New York City studios.

Gold Lust Gift Set ($115, Oribe)

The signature hair care collection from late celebrity hairstylist Oribe Canales, best-known for his “big hair” styles of the 90s, is not only effective but also smells fabulous. The Gold Lust set includes a shampoo and conditioner designed to repair and restore hair as well as a hair oil to apply to wet hair before heat styling. Oribe works with artists for its gift packaging and this set comes in a limited edition box with an original print from Kenyan artist Thandiwe Muriu.

Mini Fragrance Collection Gift Set ($330, Fendi)

Fendi, beauty gift guide

Italian luxury house Fendi celebrates its 100th anniversary next year and launched a collection of fragrances to kick off the celebration. The scents evoke Fendi family members’ memories of their history. For example, “Casa Grande” is dedicated to Adele Casagrande Fendi who started the business as a fur and leather goods atelier in Rome with her husband. “I Casali del Pino” is named for the country estate outside of Rome owned by Adele’s granddaughter Silvia Venturini where the family gets together on weekends. This set of seven miniature bottles (10ml each) lets you explore the Fendi family’s world.

The Body Duo ($85, Nécessaire)

Necessaire, beauty gift guide

Nécessaire is a unisex range of body, hair and hand care products developed around the theory of “is this necessary?” We like the Body Duo set of a body wash and lotion because they are packed with skin care ingredients including niacinamide and hyaluronic acid that are generally found in face care products. Plus, the wash and lotion come in four fragrances including eucalyptus and santal.

Time-Filler 5XP Gift Set ($105, Filorga)

beauty gift guide, FilorgaBlinding you with science, this doctor-founded French skincare brand uses many of the same ingredients, including plumping peptides, sea fennel and passion fruit extracts, that are used in anti-aging aesthetic injectables. But no needles here, you get to apply these effective formulations directly on your skin. This year, Filorga is offering the Time-Filler 5XP gift set that includes the 5XP Cream, Time-Filler Intensive Correcting Serum, Time-Filler Night gel, along with a vanilla and bergamot-scented candle.

Makeup Brush Set ($99, Sigma Beauty)

beauty gift guide, makeup brushes by Sigma

Something women always want but rarely buy for themselves is a good set of makeup brushes. This set by Sigma is perfect for use with both powder and cream-based cosmetics. Plus, the hypoallergenic synthetic brushes are gentle for any skin type.

Powered by Peptides Duo ($85, Maelove)

maelove, beauty gift guide

I love, you love, we all love Maelove. No seriously, this small independent skin care brand co-founded a few years ago by Jackie Kim and Brad Yim, now wife and husband, has simple, clean, and highly effective ingredients. The brand is not super well-known…yet…which makes this moisturizing set extra special!

Live Gently Holiday Gift Set, Soaps ($60, Gently)

beauty gift guide, Gently Soap

Organic US farm-grown flowers and their extracts make these pretty soaps delicately fragrant and kind on the skin. Founder and Shark Tank winner Kristen Dunning, who studied horticulture and business at University of Georgia, was greatly inspired by her visits to her grandparents’ 84-acre farm in Alabama. She developed the botanical formulations as a way to soothe her own eczema-affected skin.

Le Vernis Nail Polish ($32, Chanel)

beauty gift guide, Chanel

The iconic nail polish from Chanel is a perfect introduction to this legendary French Haute Couture house. While actress Lauren Graham — you know, Gilmore Girls? — favors the Incendiaire shade of red, we love the deeper blood-red color of Pompier. It will make a great stocking stuffer too.
